What data we process

We collect as little data as possible in order to account for completion of the PE requirement.

Account data

• email address - used for logging in with a code and for notifications about decisions,
• an optional identifier assigned by the university, if the university provided one.

We do not collect your first name, last name, or student ID number.

Workout data

• activity type (e.g. running, cycling, walking),
• start and end time and duration,
• distance and estimated calories burned,
• the name of the data source (Apple Health, Health Connect, Samsung Health).

We do not have access to your location, workout route, or medical data from the health app.

Who sees your data

Your university - to the extent necessary to account for the PE requirement. Users of the university account see aggregate results and the list of students with their progress; the instructor resolving a report sees the specific workouts the report concerns.

How long

Data is stored for the purposes of settling the semester and documenting completion of the requirement. After this period ends, the university decides on its deletion.

Your rights

You have the right of access to your personal data, its rectification, erasure, and to object to processing. The data controller is your university - submit any request to the PE coordinator or the university's data protection officer.

The detailed information clause, including the controller's details and the legal basis for processing, is supplemented by your university.
